Four injured in northern Israel following barrage from Hezbollah, emergency services says

Four people were injured in northern Israel after Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets and drones on Monday afternoon, according to Israel’s emergency response service Magen David Adom (MDA).
At least one projectile hit the town of Nahariyya on Israel’s coast, just a few kilometers south of the border with Lebanon. Video from MDA showed flames coming from a heavily damaged building and a destroyed car. Three people were taken to the hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation, MDA said.
The Israeli military said the damage was likely the result of a direct hit, not a failed interceptor missile that crashed back down to earth.
At a separate scene, one man in his 40s was in mild to moderate condition as a result of the blast, MDA said.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack. The Iran-backed militant group said in a statement that they launched rockets and drones at Nahariyya.
Israel’s Home Front Command responded to provide assistance to civilians, the military said.
